Private tutor in Edison, NJ
Education
After completing a bachelor of science at the University of Delaware with a minor in mathematics in 2013 (GPA:3.7), I went on to complete a Ph.D. in Physics & Astronomy at Rutgers University (GPA: 3.5) with recent graduation in 2019. Apart from conducting research during my undergraduate and graduate careers, I have five years of teaching experience in physics at the college level during the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. I have taught for many courses covering a broad range of topics such as classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, thermal physics, nuclear physics, optics, and special relativity. My teaching experience has not only included lecturing but also required much one-on-one interaction with students during review sessions and office hours.
Experience
In addition to my teaching experience, I have also been actively tutoring for the last three years of my graduate career. Although research has been a great passion for me, being a tutor and teacher has been a very rewarding experience because of the personal connection with the student which research does not provide. As a prerequisite to college, it was required that I take the SAT and ACT, although my scores on these tests are lost to history at this point. Additionally, during my application process to graduate schools, I took the physics GRE and scored an 1800. While in graduate school, I was granted the Richard J. Plano Outstanding Teaching Assistant award for my efforts in 2016.

Hobbies
While teaching courses such as PHYS 203/204 PHYS 227/228 and many lab courses Rutgers, I realized what a rewarding experience the teaching process can be! As much as I enjoy conducting research in the vast topic subject of biophysics, teaching is one aspect of my life I do not want to give up.
