Experience
I was previously a special eduaction teacher at the elementary level for three years. I taught reading and writing using the Wilson Reading Program as well as word study. When teaching third grade, three out of five of my special education children that I taught passed one part, if not both parts of the NJ ASK. I am very familiar with preparing students for the NJASK and have experience giving the test itself with individual students as well as small groups on test days. I have worked with both special education students, general education students and have experience tutoring autistic students. During my time teaching, I would tutor students after school, before school and even tutor half of my lunch period.
