The powerful elegance of Mathematics is surprising and inspiring. To create this perception of math and statistics as something that isn't just useful, but beautiful to students has been my pursuit for nearly a decade. I push my pupils to have a thorough understanding of the subject. I refuse to leave them lopsided, requiring that they both have a firm grasp on the concepts involved and a flawless execution in completing the work. In my class or under my tutelage, I refuse to leave students stranded by handing them a list of formulas, telling them to plug the right things in, and expect them to know how to think critically. It's this kind of surface level, disjointed, incomplete teaching of the underlying systems that makes people lose interest in math, instead of seeing how amazing it truly is. The truth is that you can always get better. I am here to guide you through asking yourself the kinds of questions that promote critical thinking, and walking through each step of the equation until you know why it works. From that, you can learn how to deal with new challenges on your own. I've taught various students from all walks of life, from first grade to university, in school or after, child or adult. When I'm not teaching, I watch movies, listen to music, catch a great movie, or discover a new place. Don't struggle with math; let me help out.
