As an AP student, I understand the heavy load of work a person endures. Along with academics, students are expected to have other interests. I have been part of the Track and Field and Cross Country team since my freshman year. In my junior and senior years, I served as my team's captain. I also love to volunteer. I usually attend the soup kitchens at a local church and serve food to those in need. I have been part of my school's Rotary and Key clubs and have spent time raising money to fund for several projects. Recently, my school recognized my efforts my nominating me as the Senior of the Month. In my last year of high school, I plan to continue running and maybe even run a marathon by June. No matter how stressful high school can sometimes be, there is no need to panic as there will always be assistance. It is important, most of all, to follow your passions and develop yourself as a human being and a unique individual.
