Experience

I am currently pursuing my medical career, attending Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. I go to the campus at New Brunswick/Piscataway. I previously attended Emory University.Although I am looking to join the medical field, I am also an advocate for education. I understand the importance of education in the world, and realize the benefits it brings. I want to be educated on health issues, proper patient care, and causes and risks of certain illnesses. This advocacy started because of my parents. They immigrated from South Korea to the United States, and struggled everyday to ensure we had a proper education. My education has brought me many opportunities for work, particularly in tutoring.My schooling provided me with the knowledge I needed for subjects like math, English, reading, and literature. I now share that knowledge with others, educating them in the way my teachers educated me. I also help with more difficult subjects, such as pre-algebra, precalculus, and trigonometry.While I understand the importance of education, I also realize that there is a need for social interaction, as well as alone time. I like to spend my time alone writing and reading. I also enjoy running, watching TV, and cooking.
